Q. I can't send mail with Outlook, Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

A. Recently there have been changes made to two of the larger ISP's in the region which will render your current outgoing mail settings useless. Currently, your outgoing mail server is likely set to either mail.mycompanyname.com or www.mycompanyname.com. If you are using Telus ADSL or Shaw Cable neither of these settings will function correctly.

If you are using Telus you must change your outgoing mail server to mail.telus.net and disable outgoing mail authentication if its currently enabled.

If you are using Shaw Cable you must change your outgoing mail server to shawmail.cg.shawcable.net and disable outgoing mail authentication if its currently enabled.
